Our future Drift School car @ Vq'd s14...shake down
So...finally I felt like updating the blog...
で。。。やっとブログを書く気になった今日この頃だったりする。
Anyway, me & Taka went to Willow Springs Raceway to have shake down for our soon-to-be-a-drift-school-car.
とにかく、あたしとたかさんウィロー・スプリングス・レースウェイに近い将来ドリフトスクール号になる車のシェイクダウンに行ってきました。
When we went there, there were several people already practicing...so we figured out we wouldn't have that much time to run.
現地に着いたら着いたで、結構他の人も練習しに来てたのであんまり走る時間はないだろうなぁと思ってたんだけど・・・。

After we got this car, we had small fix here & there...and modified aluminum shifter bracket was broken when we checked the car, so I brought to JTP's shop to get it re-welded it.
Thank you for, Justin, doing the favor for me @ last mins.!
この車手に入れてから、ちびちびとここ直してあそこ直してとかしてたんだけど、アルミ製のシフターブラッケットは前のオーナーさんが切った貼ったしてたのが既に割れちゃっててＪＴＰのショップに行って直してもらった。
時間ギリで持ってったのに快くやってくれてジャスティン、ありがとーーー♪
Anyway, this car needs some parts installations...LSD, oil cooler, arms and such...but nothing was broken, so it was good.
んでも、まだこの車色んな物くっつけなきゃだめなんだなぁ。ＬＳＤとかオイルクーラーとかアームとか・・・色々。まぁ、でも何も壊れなかったから良しとしよう。
BTW, we will be launching new drift school programs sometimes early next year besides Drift 102 we are currently offering. Details are coming soon!
ところで、来年早々今やってるドリフト１０２のクラス以外に新しいドリフトのスクールプログラム、デビューしちゃいます♪ 詳細は・・・後ほど。
We have 1 month & half left for this year...and I hope we have better year next year.
今年も残り後１ヵ月半くらいだけど、来年はずっといい年になると良いなぁ。。。

Belated JTP's Truck, Trailer, and Competition car got stolen.

Justin Pawlak’s Truck/Trailer and Mazda Rx-7 Stolen [URGENT]

Last night Justin Pawlak had his Chevrolet 2500HD stolen and attached to it was his 26 foot enclosed Aztex trailer. Inside the trailer tragically was his green Mazda Rx-7! The picture above is how it looked upon being stolen. The trailer had two sets of wheels inside it (2 18×10.5 SSR Typer F wheels and 2 18×11 Volk TE37s). The trailer also had a Craftsman tool box full of tools. Please call or email me. It was stolen between midnight and 2am from Maywood St. in Eaglerock. Call Justin at: 623-332-6766 (Hotline shop number) if you have any urgent information leading to his stuff and let’s help him get his stuff back from thieves Wrecked Magazine!

Megan Racing Invaded SpeedTrialUSA (w/ Japanese Translation)
So...Taka & me went to Speed Trial USA event @ Willow Springs Raceway last Sat. as a part of Team Megan Racing.
で。。。たかさんと私は先週の土曜日、ウィロー・スプリングス・レースウェイにチームメーガンレーシングの一員としてスピード・トライアル・USAって言うグリップ走行会に行ってきました。
Anywayz, overall weather was much better than 2 weeks ago with snowing @ same place...
とり合えず、２週間前にあったイベントと同じ場所だったんだけど、まーまーこの時期にしては心地良いお天気で良かったかも。
Iit was pretty bad fog early in the morning...looks like rain in the pic...but all from fog. Well, I can't really see at dark...and with fog...NO WAY to drive!! Thank you, Taka for driving.
でも、早朝は超霧で・・・写真は雨ぢゃなく霧でそんな感じ。私は暗いところとか全然見えない（？）のに、しかも霧って・・・運転なんて無理！と、言う事で・・・たかさん、運転ありがと～～～♪
And...here are pix of our Megan Racing pit @ the event...
それで・・・写真がチームのピットな感じ。
My car was parked other side...from them.
でも・・・私のコンペカーは場所がなかったので、反対側に止まってました。
There were many old skool friends...and it was nice seeing them again.
結構昔の知り合いとかも来てて、久しぶりに盛り上がったりもしました。
He is Calvin, owner of Megan Racing. I asked him to look at camera...and this was what he did.
彼がメーガンレーシングの社長さん、カルビン。カメラ見てーってゆーたら、こんなんが取れました。（汗）
And...I asked to smile...and...yeah, he kinda smiled. Yes, he was a bit shy...cuz he knew I would post the pix to the blog. haha
気を取り直して、笑ってーって言ったら・・・ま、まぁ。。。何となくはにかんでる。（汗）ちょっと恥ずかしかったのかなぁ・・・写真はブログ逝きってわかってたからかも。（笑）
So next time if anyone sees Calvin, please say "Hi" and "Go Megan Racing!!"
I mean...just cheer him up. hahaha ;)
って事で、次回もしどこかでカルビンを見たら、みんな挨拶してついでに”頑張れーメーガンレーシング！”って叫んで下さいねー♪ まぁ、普通に挨拶だけで良いですｹﾄﾞ。
O, btw...Calvin is a rare side of person being a business owner, like he loves participating these events himself. And...we will probably attend more events next year together.
あ、そーだ。カルビンは、アメリカでの社長さんとしては珍しく、こーゆーイベントに自分も参加するのが大好きだったりする。で、多分来年もこーゆーイベントが増える。。。に、違いない。（笑）
He was real brave to push his expensive daily 500hp @ stock when the course was hot...like we could buy...how many AE86 or s14? :O
因みに、カルビン・・・純正仕様で500馬力くらいあるかなりの高級車でサーキット突っ走っちゃってました。ハチロクとかS14、何台買えるんだろう？！

何かずっとパパのドライビング･グローブはめてたんだよね。てか。。。でかっ。

Daddy, John & Levin, a great fabricator & FD driver in Vista, CA (Near San Diego), and his website looks different now. Check it out! Anyway, he came to the event and had fun driving with us.
パパ、ジョン・ラサコフとレビン君２ショット。ビスタ（サンディエゴ近辺）にショップを持ってて溶接とか加工とか色々する職人さん兼ドリフター。知らない間にウェブサイトが変わってた。結構良い感じ♪ジョンもイベントに来て、うちらと一緒に走って楽しんでました。
In the last 2 sessions, we were allowed to do drifting...and I tried the first time @ Street.
最後の２セッション、ドリフトありだったので、ちょっとだけ遊んでみました。このサーキットでは初体験。
I just found out there were several pix of my car running @ Auto World Magazine Intel.
さっき国際オート・ワールドって言うメディアのページにイベントの写真が何枚かあったの発見。
Main straight @ Street...how come I was looking @ the camera?!?!
No...I was looking at the black flag...cuz some car was stopping on the course.
コースのメイン･ストレート・・・何故にヘルメット越しにカメラ目線？
実際は、コースで誰かが止まってたからブラックフラッグ振ってるおぢさんにりょーかい♪ってしてただけ（多分）。
Finally, some smoke...
やっと若干煙が出てきた。
I felt soooo nice cuz I could enjoy both grip & drift @ the event...even if I came back with felling "lost power"...Taka was checking my engine bay cuz...
何か最後はパワー感がめっちゃなくなったのでピットに戻ってきたんだけど、グリップもドリフトも出来たんで超お得な気分でホクホク顔。たかさんは「音がうるさくない？？」ってエンジンルームチェックしてました。うん、確かにうるさくなってた。。。しかも遅くなってた・・・。（汗）
My car had exhaust leak after the event, so it needs to be fixed by next event.
で・・・コンペカーから排気漏れ発見。次のイベントまでに直さなきゃ・・・。（涙）

Checking 24 hours of lemons event (w/ Japanses Translation)
So...me, myself, and I went to check 24 hours of lemon event last Sat. @ Buttonwillow.
で。。。先週の土曜日、ボタンウィローのサーキットに２４アワーズ・オブ・レモンズと言う耐久レースを見に一人で行ってきました。
There were about 170+ cars registered for the event...and it was totally different style of endurance race than what I expected. haha
何か、１７０台以上の車がエントリーしててそれだけでびっくりだったんだけど、この耐久レースってば普通のとはちょっと違ってたんだよねぇ。

There were several girl racers in this event...and Annie & Sarah were some of them. Go Girls!!
このイベントで何人か女性のドライバーがいたんだけど・・・アニーとサラはそのうちの２人でした。頑張れ～～～、ウーマンパワー♪

有名レーサー、アニー（右）と、レーサー予備軍の私。
Annie is a rare person, who really works on the car & drives. I mean...for real.
アニーはほんとに珍しい、車の作業も運転も出来る女性です。メカニックとしてもイケてるくらい。
This was Annie's team, 1UP's ride. Super Mario was their theme. Cute isn't it?
Unfortunately, it was raining in the morning, so the star and whatever the flower thingy became a bit dirty while they were racing.
この車がアニーのチーム、１アップの車。テーマはスーパーマリオ。なかなかかわいいよね？
残念ながらこの日の朝雨が降ってたので屋根の上に付いてる星とトランクの上の植木鉢がまーまー汚れちゃってました。
Anywayz, there were several funny cars caught my eyes.
とり合えず、何か私の目を引いた面白い車も何台か発見。

へー、コルベットも走ってるんだぁ・・・と思ってたら
It was 240sx (s13)...and I guess rear part was cut & pasted. BTW, between this car's tail lights, it had a sticker saying "POORVETTE". I agree.
ぅっそー、240ｓｘ（１８０の2.4Lバーヂョン）ぢゃんか。リアの部分ごっそりと切った貼ったされちゃったらしい。因みに、テールライトの間のステッカーには”かわいそーなベットちゃん”って書いてありました。確かに。

I guess this event is fun from kids to adults...Doves/pigeon on the helmet.
結構子供からお年寄りまで楽しめるイベントだって事だよねぇ。ハトがヘルメットに付いてた。何でハト？

レースの真っ只中、このかわいらしい車はぽつんとトレーラーの上に乗っかってました。既に壊れちゃってたのかなぁ？？
OMG, horse & horseback rider (?) thingys were on the roof. It didn't flew off for all day long, so I guess it was good.
これ・・・屋根の上に、馬と馬に乗ったマネキンがどーんと付いてた。てか、これは風の抵抗すげーだろうなぁ・・・これもアリかい・・・と、びっくり。でも、さすがに落ちなかったから凄い。（笑）
Limo with bride upside down...and when this car was out from the track, it smelled like burning.
リムジンサイズ･･･なんか花嫁がひっくり返ってってな感じだったんだけど・・・途中でピットに戻る時、燃えてる（焦げてる）臭いがしてたのは気のせい？！？！

These time involving events are kinda boring to watch if you don't have someone to cheer up...but it was fun to watch...
こーゆー時間を計ったりするイベントって知り合いがいなかったら結構見ててもつまらないもんだと思うんだけど、これはそんな事なく結構楽しめたかも。
And I am not sure if I could ever manage driving straight for about 2-hour, but I want to join driving...someday!
２時間とかぶっ続けで走れるかどーかはかなりの謎だけど、ちょっと走ってみたいかもと思いました。

リムジンサイズ･･･なんか花嫁がひっくり返ってってな感じだったんだけど・・・途中でピットに戻る時、燃えてる（焦げてる）臭いがしてたのは気のせい？！？！

These time involving events are kinda boring to watch if you don't have someone to cheer up...but it was fun to watch...
こーゆー時間を計ったりするイベントって知り合いがいなかったら結構見ててもつまらないもんだと思うんだけど、これはそんな事なく結構楽しめたかも。
And I am not sure if I could ever manage driving straight for about 2-hour, but I want to join driving...someday!
２時間とかぶっ続けで走れるかどーかはかなりの謎だけど、ちょっと走ってみたいかもと思いました。
