FD Monterrey, Mexico results . . . . . ouch !

Overall, it was a pretty rough weekend for
me and my Chaser. With only 260hp, it was
a tough task to make a consistent run at a
course that required some decent power.
Here, all the FD drift cars are getting ready
as the spectators starts to roll in.

I had to keep pushing harder and harder
to even make it through the course,
and the "zombie" Chaser had a little
conversation with the tough Mexican walls!

The lower control arm was bent to a 'custom' shape!
and Jun working hard to get the car back in shape...

It's fixed !!! . . . . well, kinda...
But I love the "oni-can" super negative camber !
It's old-school JDM !!

Congrats to Justin for taking the crown at this event !
and also to his pit crew Brian !!
Brian used to be my pit crew when I raced my Chaser
in Formula D in 2005~2006. I'm happy to see him
doing well with the new team !!!

The question is, should I fix my Chaser and keep
running with it ?
Or is it finally time to swap into a new body ?!?!

Hiro,
First of all , thanks, thanks a lot for comming to monterrey, was not too many people out there because the media lack of publicity, but the race was awsome!!!,
I hope you return next year in same car!!
your run was sweet, but too close to the wall, I was a side when it happened and still have pieces of plastic in my shirt!!

see you again!

Otsukare sama~,

I'm sorry for the zombie Chaser had a deep make out session with the wall in Mexico:(
I'm here for answering your qustion! I think this is the chance to swap everything to new Mark 2! I think the zombie Chaser has done a lot for you and I know it's sad but it's time to let him go...

Holly #*$@!.. That's pretty bad. It'll be insane if you can bring the zombie Chaser back to life but what about your safety? I don't think that shell can take anymore beating...or can it?

dai-chan,
yappari you think so ?
i think i'll build the mark II
and then maybe bring the chaser
back to life ?

Jun no suke,
iya iya, thank you for coming!
it would've been a disaster if
you didn't come. i had lots of
fun too. so, when are you moving
to LA from east coast ?

alex,
i can bring the chaser back to
life. it's been done before and
i can do it again. but maybe it's
time to build a new cleaner car.
but before that, i need to heal my
neck. it's been hurting very bad
since i got back . . . .

Hi Hiro!
Thanks for coming to Monterrey, was a shame the weather didn´t cooperate and the lack of the media. I really hope Formula D and Drifting Mexico keep continuity with these kind of events. The next year will be better. Don´t worry about the Chaser is a great car just fix it and improve it. Monterrey Track is hard (i know it, i race and drift here).
See you in the final round at Irvindale.
