Yesterday, we just had our last DriftDay for 2008 !

It's been a very rough year for the Team DriftPro, but
it was very good day and I am glad we ended the year
with a useful practice day under the sunny sun (^0^)
This is Yoshie's car in front of the huge US Air Force aircraft !
The 240sx hatch behind it belongs to Kat Tanaka who is also
an improving female drifter with her SR20DET equipped car.

One of my student in line to do his practice in my 1JZ Cressida.
He was having lots of fun burning up rubber !!
I bought these JDM snacks the day before to prepare for the
long DriftDay !! The trend this year in Japan was the new
"salt flavor" chocolates. Seems like the 'sweet & salty' taste
was a pretty big hit in JDM land.

Although I didn't buy this one, I just took a picture dedicated
to Yosshi~ Toshiking because we just went to eat at that
Ethiopian restaurant right before he went back to Japan. Hahaha~!!!
It's a chocolate called "Ethiopia Mocha".

Rodrigo.
That is where I need to be. *sigh* Looks like a great day!
I have been to drift 101 before and checked out the organizations. There is official Driftday organizations for Mid-west and West but is there one for East?
*^_^*
Yet?
Rodrigo,
no problem man. glad to hear that
you had a good time !!
see you next time.
AnnieC,
i'm not sure if there's a driftday
sanction in east coast, but there
are bunch of organizers who hold
events in east coast. atlanta is
very active with drifting.
As a beginner, it is very difficult to find a consistent place to learn. Actually, I think I am lower than a beginner.
*^_^* - I have created my own level.
We can call it the AC level.
It would be nice to have something akin to Drift Association for people who feel like I feel.
Your blog inspired me to start mine. Maybe as I learn, someone can learn with me. But I am not sure anyone reads my blog.
^_~.
So when is that roll cage going to be finished?
yes finding a safe drift practice
place is not easy. since you
should never practice in a public
area like streets or freeways, you
always have to rent out a private
property with proper insurance and
fire rescue crews.
as far as the progress on the car
build, you'll find out soon on this
blog ! (^_^)
Awww.. way to keep a girl in suspense!
^_^' No worries - I will be reading.
We have Langley Motor Speedway and I believe a place about an hour and a half north in Richmond that has drift events.
Hope to have experience with my own car build (hands-on of course). I feel like I should know my car (the one I choose) well before I jump to drifting.
Promise to stay legal. ^_~.
