I work @ Technosquare...

Since I don't really have too much exciting things to post on my daily life or car things...I will post some of the thing happening @ Technosquare.

Today...one of our great customers & friend, Viet (Beautiful FX35 owner), got his short block from Cosworth!! (O, he'd already got an engine head from Cosworth, too!!) Darng, sooooo bling bling!!

Yes, the short block had soo much protection that needed to cut them out!!

Howard, He is our famous engine/tranny/ring&pinion/whatsoever builder @ Technosquare.
He will put together all as always & install into Viet FX35 later!

bloody diff blow ! and overhaul

Here's some metal flakes that came out of the diff case.
It's not really a flakes . . . . . more like metal chunks !!

Most of the gear pieces came from the pinion gear.
No worries, this was not the OS Giken LSD I just put in.
It's my old diff case from long time ago with a different
brand limited slip diff.
Got my axle shafts overhauled. Looks like new !!
Also, the steering rack is overhauled too !
Nice to have these pieces without the black nasty grease
all over the place (^^)/

Recap on the weekend...

Last Sat...my work place had a Dyno day for 350z/g35 people. We had several cars for display that some to full worked by Technosquare...I went to work like 7:30am much earlier than regular work hours! hahaha

We had a good number of people showed up, so it was a great day!

And...one of my friends got a nicer car to SHOW OFF! Darng.
And I was sooo lucky that I got a ride home w/ this GT-R! Thanks, guys!! ;)

Sun...my million years project car...Kouki S14 fired up!! Thanks Taka for all the works!
It still looks like a bit ghetto...but it will be nice...I hope soon. hahaha
Well, at least...the engine turns on right know...still need to get some parts to make it run completely...tho.
To build this car, I got a lot of support here and there!! Taka, Megan Racing, R & D Factory, Protech (frame & body paint shop), and the biggest support was...DKwan Media who donated me this car...long long time ago...

O...I got a blister when I was peeling off the stickers from Taka's car...(that's my thumb)

the engine

I wanted to find out what kind of cams were in
this engine, so I took off the timing belt . . .

I was able to find out what the cams were. Set of 272 cams.
But since I'm at it, I might want to change the timing belt,
timing belt tensioner, water pump, ...etc. More $$$ !!
And this was not cheap, but with fuel it's always better
to be safe than sorry . . . therefore FuelSafe !!

spending and buying a lot !

I've been spending a lot these days to buy all the necessary
parts and accesories . . . . including this pipe cutter.
(this was the cheapest thing I bought...)
All other stuff is hundreds of dollars and mounting to
thousands now... Plastic at work !!!

Trying to sort out the wiring for Haltec...
I think I got the most part figured out.
So, how long do we have till the first round at
Long Beach ? It's getting too close...

JustDrift TopDrift Battle Round 1 in WSIR Balcony !

I went to Willow Springs IR to be the judge for the
Top Drift round 1 with Taka.
Yoshie was competing in her new graphic S14.
So flashy !!

It was only March 1st, but the weather was like summer!
My face was burned and my lips were peeling . . .
Can't imagine when the real summer comes... scary !!

TOP DRIFT Rd. 1

I went to Willow Springs Race Track last weekend.

There was a Top Drift competition held by Just Drift.

Sat. was a practice, and Sun. was a competition...and I could get a chance to run both days. Thank you sooo much! I had a really great time there! :)

To compete this event, my ECU was re-tuned by Technosquare...I upgraded my injectors to 550cc since the old ones were maxed out. Then, raised the height on the car and alignment was done by Hiro's Auto Repair. Thank you very much for the support!

BTW, it was my first competition w/ a whole completed new graphic done by Naoki Kobayashi!! I love my car sooooo much!

Anyway, I got top 16 on the qualify for the Top Drift on Sun! Yay! Unfortunately, I lost in Tandem run. :(

After the competition, Charile (Just Drift Organizer) was nice enough to have Team Tandem Competition for free to everyone (I think?). And I got a team there. hahaha Well, I need more practice! But it was a great experience!
