NOS Center Demo & SpoCom Car Show

So...last weekend was kinda busy...

Basically, we woke up early and dropped off Taka's competition AE86 @ Long Beach SpoCom Car Show around 8am...The car looks nice from far!! hahaha

This was inside of the building...we waited a bit to get in there...almost empty.

After we could park the car...I started cleaning up the car and fixing the small body damages w/ vinyl and such. I was like..."Darng, Taka...STOP HITTING THE WALLS!!" haha

Anyway...after that, we went back home and loaded Taka's personal AE86 on the trailer...and headed to NOS Center for Demo thingy. Since this event had a plenty of time to hang around, so all the drivers were kinda relaxed and relaxed and...I guess...relaxed, again.

There were other races going on...
Go-Kart w/ body kit??

3 cars stacking together...there were only 2 teams running when I saw doing figure 8. I was kinda imagining at least 5 teams doing figure 8...THAT'S CRAZY!! Like it would be demolition Derby...

Finally, their turn...getting dark already. Anyhow, after this event, we arrived home like 12:30am!! No wonder I was really sleepy.

So...on Sun, we came back to SpoCom Car Show...

I found our good friend, Viet, FX35...Nice & Clean as always!!

I want this car!! SOooo Cute. I am not sure if I would survive if I get hit...tho. haha

Corolla Lover Sticker: AE86NIGHTS!

In front of Formula D rig

Darng, PERVS!! I couldn't even take any pix of the girls!!

I think there was "Model Search" event right next to us...and some of the girls were...OMG, no comment...

BTW, I found 1 cute girl among them. Well, I think there were several cute girls...but I didn't get to check all of them. O well.

Then...on Mon., Taka had a tranny problem @ NJ, so he took out...the drain bolts...and look what he found...EWWWWW, metals all over!!

Came back from NJ

Well, we were back on last week...and I lagged to upload the pix...

After the event, we decided to take other route to avoid tall roads.
Since I've never been to DC area, Taka was nice enough to take me to a quick tour around that area! ;) Thank you, Taka!

And unfortunately...I couldn't take a pic for Delaware state thingy!! Instead, I took this. haha

Between the Delaware and Maryland...there were bridges...and we had to use tall again. One of the tall was...the 2-axle was like $2...so I was thinking to pay max $5 for 4-axle or so...but ended up paying $9 just for 1 bridge!! Darng, such a rip off!! :(

There were a lot of cars on the parking lot...at least 3 other parking lots like that!!

Downtown...#1

Downtown #2

Washington DC state thingy...

Kinda far view of Capitol thingy in the middle...

Houses there looked like San Fransisco...

White House gate...

OMG! This was the only chance that I could have!! And I did it!! White House.

Some kinda of Monument...haha Between the White House & the Capitol...(Washington Monument)

Jefferson Memorial thingy...

A part of Department of Defense...(Pentagon) w/ Taka's face...

Welcome to Virginia!

There was kinda funny thingy that you can drive on the shoulder @ certain time...#1

Driving on the shoulder #2...that day wasn't OK to drive there...haha

Welcome to Tennessee!

Welcome to Oklahoma!

O...BTW, the Wasp bites on my knee...darng, it was swollen and itching!! And that is not my butts pic!

O...when we stopped @ Gas station...Taka bought the pink thingy! It was nice and easy to drink w/out spill! hehe

Good morning, everyone...yes, we were sleepy.

Welcome to Texas!

Welcome to New Mexico!

Welcome to New Mexico #2...the previous pic wasn't that clear, so we decided to stop the rest area to take this pic...and Taka went to the dirt that might get scorpions to bite him. Luckily, he didn't die. haha

Some monument @ intersection...Albuquerque, NM

Hmmm...getting dark as usual...

Welcome to Arizona!

Hmmm...darker and darker sky...

I thought Arizona was all desert. Such a stereo-type?!

I don't know what this was...there were 2 dinosaurs, but Taka missed one. So sad.

I don't know what this was #2...definitely, not a golf ball.

Welcome to California, finally!! The state plate...soooo boring cuz of the budget crisis?! HAHAHA

So...our trip was done after 61 hours of driving including 4 hours of sleep & quick sight seeing.

Yoshie

PS: I remembered I took a pic of "Welcome to Arkansus!"...but I couldn't find it. I took a pic w/ my cell phone cuz my camera battery was gone at that time...
