Good to go...

So...Taka's tranny was put together @ Technosquare by Howard!

When I came home, Taka's competition AE86 was already on the trailer...

And...XXR wheels w/ Taka's Drift 102 car!

Other day of...funny (?) thingy (for me)

I think once in a while, everyone gets phone calls w/ "Wrong number!" situation.

If I let them know it is a wrong number...I think the right way to be asked by the unknown caller is, "Oh, I am sorry. Isn't this number xxx-xx-xxxx?" or so.

BUT, a lot of time...I get asked as, "Who is this??"

I just don't get it... But...I am like "O well..."

This time was a text message.

Unknown person: "Hey whts up"

Me: "Who is this?"

Unknown person: "Rosemarys daughter"

Me: "Haha wrong number"

Unknown person: "Who is this?"

I was like "OMG! For real??"

AND, I was like x 2 "Check your darng number you entered on the screen before asking!!"

Of course, I ignored after "Who is this?" message...

These thingys are still like a culture shock for me for long time...

XXR wheels

So...me & Taka went to XXR @ Rancho Cucamonga to pick the wheels up for Drift 102 car this morning...Nice to have 2 people to use carpool! And...yeah, I am sleepy, of course.

And nice to have wagon to carry many thingys. The pic in the middle is "will call" gate.

XXR warehouse inside...the place is HUGE! It is just a little part of the warehouse!

AND...I got XXR 513 w/ gun metal @ 15x8 0 offset. Deep & beautiful lip!

Back home...& test fitted. Oooops...on the rear. I hope it will fit w/ tire...

Test fit on the rear...the tire @ 205/60/15 looks soooo HUGE! ...

Remind me of...this?

Me banging...but my almost no to little muscle w/ weird position w/ big hammer didn't do much.
As you know...Taka finished most of left overz.

Anyway....Over all, great to see some aggressiveness!! (Minus size of the tire?)

O...BTW, somehow..."Cucamonga" sounds soooooo funny for me!!
Don't ask me why...cuz I don't know!!

JP USA Bumper...

So...my good looking bumper was...kinda...masking taped...and can sprayed as always this morning.

And, when I came home...my bumper was fixed! Sure, it looks great like 10 feet away!

While...I tried to get something @ garage...I heard some plastic broken noise.
I mean...I was too heavy for the plastic... (AKA: I accidentally stepped on it and broke it...)

I have feelings that this weekend becomes busy!!

O, BTW...On July 4th, Megan Racing competition @ NOS Center...
Megan Racing has been one of my greatest sponsors for years!! Thank you very much for the support!

If you don't have anything to do on the 4th...check it out!

And...On July 5th, Drift Day @ El Toro...There are still spots available!!

If you don't have anything to do on the 5th...come & drift!!

Taka's wheel...

So...today, our team manager, Koji, came to our house to drop off the Taka's Watanabe wheel that was damaged @ Formula D Wall, NJ event.

This was before... if you haven't read what happened...You can check here...

And...This is after...OMG! Looks soooo brand new!!
You can check it out @ Performance Wheel Repair...if you ever need your wheels fixed/paint/polished! I just found out the shop location is in "Walnut"...Darn it is far from Torrance area!!

Performance Wheel Repair fix all of Falken Tire's race cars too. You can ask for Marco at (909) 534-8672 and let him know that DriftPRO sent you! He can fix wheels for people out of the area, just need to ship him your wheels for repair.

Thank you, Koji for taking them there & picking them up!!

And...Taka was happy to see his damaged wheel fixed!

BTW, Taka got all dusty cuz he was fixing on my JP USA front bumper.
OMG! I love the body kit!

My Kouki s14...

Today...the shifter boot was installed for my kouki s14 for Drift 102 school car. It was taken from my competition s14. Looks better than not having the boot. hehe

Somehow this car had a problem w/ power window on the passenger side...
Then, found out that passenger power window switch which I got was bad, so the alternate switch was taken out from my competition car. x 2 So now, it is working!

Now, my competition s14 can't open/close the passenger window...
I mean neither from the main driver side switch nor from the passenger side switch...

So...I was looking @ the wiring diagram...and looks like...I might be able to open/close from the main driver side switch if I just cut 2 wires and solder them to the power window regulator w/out having the passenger window switch. So, I will try later! haha

Inland Drift...

So...me & Taka went to Inland Drift today.
The temp outside became unbelievably HOT in the day time!!
Welcome, Hot Summer!...not really.

When we got there, our team mate, Hiro, was already instructing Drift 102.
The pic left side...is the student and wife (gf?).

Hiro was showing the student how to do the new technique.

Taka was testing the course w/ my car...looks like he was having fun...

Hey, Taka! You are making huge smokes!! My tires... my tires... my tires... hahaha j/k!

Then Taka drove Mark's car...Taka span out! YES!!!

O, I got new gloves!! I got it size: XXS! This is SFI approved, comfy to wear, and has a great price. You can get them from Tom @ On Track Motorsport (888)805-3435. Check it out!

Taka looked soooo serious...BTW, I dyed his hair...and I am sorry...
I was expecting to see gray-ish color...but ended up somehow became...

Since Taka looked like all serious, I kinda...&$#&%!?

And I saw Steve...OMG!! Look @ his socks!!
Anyway, he was kicking some (a lot?) butts on the course! Great job on the gay-ish socks, girly (gayly?) posing, and driving! HAHAHA

I didn't like the way my car handled after the last suspension set-up...so Taka did a quick change. Wow, a bit of change made my car handle totally different!! I loved it! Thank you, Taka!

I gave Hiro's student a ride before he left...
I hope he enjoyed 2 days of drifting, Drift 101/102...from east coast.

Thank you very much for the Inland Drift staff! We will be back again!
