@ Technosquare

So...a customer brought AE86 for ECU tuning.

Our ECU tech installed ROM board, burned chip, and ran the car on the dyno.

We usually deal with newer Nissans like 350z, 370z, G35, G37 and such...and got used to see the number like 250hp+...of course, 200hp+ for drift cars, too...

AND...poor AE86 has 2-digit!!! Of course, my daily AE86 will be almost same or worse than that...but just funny that I got used to see the higher power cars.

Last Sat...

Me & Taka went to America's tire @ Torrance to have tire rotation service...

AND...almost all the streets were blocked. So it took us some time to get into their parking lot.

So...not too many customers...

Not too many cars on the street except military vehicles.

Keep going & going...

Airplane-ish thingy...I want to drive that!!

Of course, it took us some time x 2 to get out from it...

Was it some kinda festival??

Event report @ Formula D Atlanta #3

And...finally pit report.

Our Team mate Cyrus hit the wall...on Thur. practice...
Sad thingy is I didn't take a pic before it was fixed.

Anyhow, his gf, Ellie works @ body shop and tried to figure out what to do.

And after fix. Great job!
I think...to make it better than this...cut & paste job required!

Our pit crew, Robert...his bed was jacked at night so that he couldn't rest well.
Last year, we didn't have any pit crew except local events, so it was really nice!!
AND...I am so mean that taking a pic like this. hehe

Jun from Intec Racing installing LED thingys from V-LEDS on Taka's engine bay. And kinda dummy that I didn't take pix lightening up!

Event report @ Formula D Atlanta #2

So...Taka didn't make to top 16...

This was kinda most excited thingy to watch on Sat. for Taka.

On the top 32 tandem...rear hatch pins were not closed, so Taka span out half way. D-mac was injured his wrist because of that...Sorry, D-mac.

To be continued...

Event report @ Formula D Atlanta #1

Yay! Me & Taka were so spoiled that we could fly into Atlanta.

Thank you very much, Megan Racing!

Our Team manager Naoki towed team's cars 95% of the time along w/ Cyrus. haha They came back safe here yesterday!

Taka & Cyrus were qualified top 32...but they didn't move on.

Here is Taka's qualify run on Fri. Enjoy!

To be continued...

We went and checked out the Project Car Magazine AE86 built by Taka on display by Cabe Toyota at TORC TOYOTAFEST. We had a lot of great response for the build, thanks for everyone's support buying the magazine! If you have a copy and ever run into Taka, make sure to ask for his autograph!

FormulaD Atlanta!

Yesterday Taka placed 20th at FormulaD Round 2 Atlanta qualifying and will be competing against DMAC in Top32 competition on Saturday!

Please cheer him on everyone! Go Taka!
