Drift School Student from Peru (w/ Japanese Translation)

So...DriftPRO also offers Private Lesson besides Drift 101/102 program.
Student, Carlos knew the concept on drifting already, so he decided to take Private Lesson.
で。。。ドリフトプロはドリフト１０１と１０２のプログラムだけでなく、個人レッスンも受け付けてます♪
今回の生徒さん、カルロス君はドリフト101レベルは終了していたレベルだったので、個人レッスンを受けたいとの事でした。


He flew from Peru for his business and took our class.
He found about our Drift School from internet search. Great find, Carlos!
カルロス君はペルーから出張で来たついでにクラスを取ってくれました。
ネットで検索しまくってここにたどり着いたようです。やるぢゃん、カルロス君！





Anyway,
とにかく・・・



He loved my s14 so much...and ended up trying to buy some s-chassis in Peru. Wow.
Ｓ１４超気に入ってくれました。それで、ペルーに戻ったらシルビア系の車を買うーって言ってました。結構本気モード。






In the end of the day, he was drifting with real challenging layout! Great Job, Carlos!
(We normally don't let students do this course layout!)
クラスの終わりに、チャレンジコースをドリフトしてました。やるぢゃん、カルロス君ｘ２！
（でも、こんなコースは普段走らせておりません。）






After the session. Carlos has real happy face finishing the lesson with Taka.
終わった後。カルロス君ナイススマイルでたかさんと２ショット。





He got feeling of both cars!
２台とも運転してみたので車の違いもつかみました。

Belated Formula D @ Irwindale After the Event Thingys (w/ Japanese Translation)

So...after the top 32 tandem, I was kinda walking around...
で、３２位の追走終わった後、とぼとぼと歩き回ってたら・・・


And, ended up stayed @ RS-R pit area.
ＲＳ－Ｒのピットに到着。

で、その後・・・この人、すげー顔になってるんだけど・・・。


He was trying to get double chin...but no meat @ Champ Miki.
Anywayz, He was pretending someone...Guess who??
二重あごに挑戦。でも、あごの肉がなくこんな状態に・・・チャンプ・三木君でした。
まぁ・・・誰かの真似してたんだけどさ、誰だと思う？






Taka tried "Guess who" person's glasses...in the beginning...it was OK...then,
たかさんも、「誰だと思う？」の人が使ってるメガネ掛けてみました。最初はオッケーだったんだけど。。。

He was saying the glasses were too strong. O, ya.
なんだか気持ちイイ～な顔付き？何かｽﾊﾞﾗｼｲ夢でも見てるんでしょうか？
度が強すぎたって言ってたけど、どーだか。（笑）

So...I lagged again.　
また。。。ラグってしまった・・・。（汗）




Taka's practice and qualify day went smooth...He got qualified top 32 no problem.
たかさんの木曜練習会と金曜の予選、まーまー問題もなく無事３２位通過しました♪

土曜日は、いい天気ぃ～でリラックスして１日が始まる予定だったのに・・・。






Not really...for me. one of the loudest cars was revving way too loud @ quiet morning!!
朝っぱらから近所のチームの激うるせー車がブインブインってふかしてて超迷惑顔してるヒト。






I am not a morning person...Cyrus was holding me up-side-down...thanx.　
朝方人間ではないのに・・・サイラスに逆さづりにされてる私。。。そりゃどーも。




And, our team mate Hiro came to Irwindale to help Taka. Thank you very much, Hiro!
それでもって、うちらのチームメートのヒロ君がアーウィンデールまでお助けに来てくれました。

Anyway, Taka was against Aasbo...Toyota (one of the smallest?) vs. Toyota (one of the biggest?).
ま、とにかく・・・たかさんのお相手はオスボでした。トヨタ対決の巻き。（一番小さめと一番大きめ）

It is difficult to see in the video, but Aasbo misshifted @ bank initiation point.
Taka's follow line became a bit lower. If Taka had more power & torque...probably it didn't really matter!
ビデオではちょーっと見づらいけど、オスボが進入でミスシフトしたもんで、たかさんのラインがおっこっちゃいました。たかさんの車にパワーとトルクがあったら、そんなんあっても問題なかったんだろうなぁ。

Taka had a good run...except too wide on the inner clip...
You can't see from the video, but Taka's tow hook kinda stack to the wall, so he didn't have much choice to come back to the line on time. O well.
たかさん、結構いい感じで走ってたのに、最後のクリップ超外しちゃってたし。てか、結構良い感じで大外に来れたんだけど、牽引フックがまーまー飛び出しててそれが壁に刺さりながら、あらら～～～ぁって感じだったのでラインに戻ってこれませんでした。残念。



Anyway, he lost.　
そんなわけで、負けちゃいました。（涙）







After the tandem, Taka was doing the autograph session @ Megan Racing booth.

Thinking about 4 cylinder engine @ 1600cc in Formula D is too weak compare to all others even though Taka's engine is really great compare to regular 1600cc engine...less power & torque, smoke, too quiet...whatsoever.
たかさんのエンジン、他の1600ｃｃのエンジンの中では超優れものなんだけど。。。やっぱ、フォーミュラＤの中では・・・たったの1600ｃｃの４シリンダーエンジンはお話にならないと思ってしまう。パワーもトルクも劣るし、煙はちーとも出ないし、ターボだから静かだし・・・。




Car needs to be more competitive next year.　
来年はもっと戦闘力のある車にしないとダメだねー。

Taka @ Doctor Check Up (w/ Japanese Translation)

So...Taka & me went to Dr. Plut office a bit ago...before Irwindale event.
で。。。たかさんと私はアーウィンデールのイベントのちょっと前にドクター・プラットのオフィスに行ってきました。



That day, the office was pretty busy, and assistant, Byron, wasn't there.
So it kinda took a bit to take x-rays...
その日は、アシスタントのバイロン君もいなく、レントゲン取る人は別のオフィスから派遣されたようでその人が来るまでにも結構時間掛かったし。。。どーも結構忙しかったようで結構またされちゃいました。






This time, it was knee bone. You can see cartridge thingy in the middle...kinda broken.
今回はひざ骨でした。軟骨だかなんだかが真ん中ら辺に見えるけど・・・若干ちぎれ気味。







Again, Taka wanted to eat plastic model...he must be dreaming eating KFC grilled chicken...?
またですよ・・・たかさん、プラスチックの標本（？）をぱくっと・・・ケンタのグリルド・チキン食べてる夢でも見てるんだろうなぁ・・・きっと。







Good news is...his bone kinda healed. Big pic is 6 weeks ago, and small one on the left is this time. The splitting is closed.
グッド･ニュース的には、骨はくっついたっぽい。大きな写真は６週間前の、左側の小さい写真は今回の。亀裂ふさがってるでしょう？



Bad news is...he still has some pains on and off...and told Dr. Plut about it. I guess it is kinda common for some people...and in that case, the plate and bolts need to be removed. So go back to painful surgery one more time.
バッド･ニュース的には、ドクター･プラットにたまに足がすげー痛くなるって相談したら・・・まぁ、別にまーまーそーゆーケースは普通にあるらしい。その痛みが続けば、中に入ってるプレートもボルトも取っ払う事になるらしい。。。そしたら、また入院って事だな。




His next check up will be the end of Dec., so will see if he needs to remove these cool metals!
次の診察は１２月の終わりなんだけど、その時には多分、カッコイイ金属モノを取るか取らないかがわかるっぽい。

Belated post for Drift 102 (w. Japanese Translation)

OMG, I have been procrastinating for a looong time.
ぅげ！てか、長い事ブログ放置プレイしててｽﾐﾏｾﾝ。



Anyway, we have some Drift 101 and 102 students last months...
とにかく、先月ドリフト101と102のクラスがありました。



Just introducing a bit...
Drift 101 is organized by Drift Association & Drift 102 is organized by DriftPRO.

BUT, I am the one who will be replying your emails or coordinating the scheduling.

ちょっとだけ説明を。。。
ドリフト101はドリフト･アソシエーションに、ドリフト102はドリフトプロで請け負ってます。

Drift 101, you will learn basic skills like donuts and figure 8th using 1st gear. These skills are really important to go next step.

Drift 102, you will start using 2nd gear...initiation techniques and drifting mini course. So if you would like to experience real drifting, it might be better to take 2-day Drift 101/102 instruction!


ドリフト101は基本的な事を学びます。ドーナツとか８の字とか１速での練習になります。次のステップに行くのに必要になります。この段階ではまだまだドリフトしてるとは言えないかも・・・。

ドリフト102は２速を使って進入の仕方とかミニ･コースを体験できたりします。実際にドリフトしてみたいって思う方は２日間のドリフト101/102コースがお勧めです♪

Since AE86 doesn't have power steering, it might be tough for some people...

ハチロクはパワステがないので一部の人たちにはちょっと運転が大変な事も・・・
でも、スコットは全く問題なく卒業。てか、その筋肉ちょーだい！（嘘）




Jonathon was driving my s14...he was really having fun and didn't stop driving until he was told to come back to the pit.
ジョナサンは私のＳ１４を運転してました。どーも超楽しかったようで、最後の最後までピットに戻ってこーーーいと言われるまでずっと走り続けてました。（笑）
